Your Stay at Mottistone
Arrival:
If possible, guests are requested to arrive between 4.30pm and 9.00pm, please.
It is helpful if you let us know your approximate arrival time.
Please discuss any requirements for arrival outside these times.
During the Day: We ask you to vacate the house between 10.30am and 4.30pm each day.
Departure: On your last day, you are asked to vacate by 10.30am.
Booking Terms
Deposit: Please send a deposit of £10 per person per night at the time of booking.
Agency Bookings: If you booked through an agency which required you to send a % deposit, we require a further £10/person/night (as above) to be sent directly to us, so that we have some security for the booking.
Credit & Debit Card Deposit Payments: Visitors with no UK bank, or those who wish to pay by credit/debit card, can do so on this site on the "Pay Deposits" page; this is useful for deposits but can also be used to settle bills by using a computer at the farmhouse. Note that all card payments attract 4% bank surcharges. Those paying by card, who have booked through an agent and already paid 10% to them, will need to pay our full deposit above; but this will be taken into account when the final bill is paid.

Fees: Fees vary with the season, with discounts for multiple nights during high season.

Children: Our establishment is not equipped with family rooms or child facilities. Whilst we are happy to accept children, parents need to be aware of the limitations and the need to vacate the house during the day. We do not normally give a discount for children who are old enough to occupy a bed.
Pets: We are situated on a working farm, we have dogs of our own, and we do not allow pets in upstairs rooms. So, if you want to bring a pet, you will need to discuss it with us and agree how we would manage them …… a number of dogs have enjoyed a stay here, and we did agree to accommodate a horse once!
Smoking: We are a No-Smoking establishment.
Payment: You may pay the balance of your bill before departure, in cash or by cheque. Payment by card by Internet is possible - see "Credit/Debit Cards" below.
Cheques: Cheques should be made payable to “ C R BOLT ” and backed by a guarantee card (please write the number on the reverse of the cheque).
Credit/Debit Cards: We do not have a telephone facility for card payment, but secure card payments can be accepted on-line via this web site (PayPal account holders will need to use their password). A non-returnable 4% surcharge will be made for this service to cover bank charges.
This is a useful facility for paying deposits and for overseas customers. We can provide access to a laptop to enable you to pay the balance of your bill this way, if you wish.
Refunds: Deposit fees sent directly to us would be refunded in full if you cancelled before 28 days ahead of your visit. A partial refund would be made thereafter. Within 7 days of your visit we reserve the right to charge you in full for your booking. Refund of credit/debit card surcharges will not be made (as these go straight to the bank, not to us!)
